Pure EMDR

About Pure EMDR

Built from a belief that telehealth EMDR can feel simpler

Pure EMDR was created by a software engineer and mental-health advocate who saw an opportunity to make the telehealth workflow more intuitive for both clinicians and clients.

A personal starting point

The idea for Pure EMDR began during my own EMDR sessions. I saw how much care, focus, and skill a clinician brings to the work, and how easily a telehealth workflow can interrupt that focus when it asks a client to open another link, navigate a separate webpage, or troubleshoot a new tool.

I kept coming back to a simple question: what if the technology stayed out of the way? That question became Pure EMDR, a clinician-controlled way to share an EMDR Board in the telehealth call you already use.

Built by an engineer who cares about the human experience

I have worked as a senior software engineer with multiple Fortune 100 companies. That experience taught me how to make complex systems dependable, clear, and easy to use. My interest in mental health made the goal personal: build a tool that respects the clinician’s workflow and asks as little as possible of the client.

Pure EMDR keeps the board setup and session controls on the clinician’s side. Clients join the usual call; they do not need a Pure EMDR link, separate webpage, app, account, download, or setup step.

A small tool for a more present session

Pure EMDR is not a replacement for clinical expertise. It is a focused screen-sharing tool designed to remove unnecessary setup so clinicians can spend less time managing technology and more time being present with their clients.
