The client joins the clinician’s usual telehealth call. They do not need a Pure EMDR link, separate webpage, app, Pure EMDR account, download, or setup step. Your telehealth platform may have its own joining requirements.

Pure EMDR keeps the board setup and session controls on the clinician’s side of the telehealth call. The clinician opens and screen-shares the board, while the client joins the usual call without opening a Pure EMDR link or separate webpage.

Who controls the EMDR Board?
The clinician controls the session from the Pure EMDR remote on their side of the call.
What does the client see?
When the clinician shares only the EMDR Board tab for a browser call, or the EMDR Board application window for Zoom, the client sees the board rather than the clinician’s browser tabs, bookmarks, or remote.
Does my client need a second device?
No. Pure EMDR is designed for the clinician to share the EMDR Board in the usual telehealth call, so the client does not need a separate device for Pure EMDR.
